Trying to save more money? Buying products at the right time can really help you save. You can get more out of your money just by purchasing products when they are at their lowest price.
Buying while foods are in season doesn’t take a lot of time. Just stock up on foods when they are at their cheapest, so you can have them all year. Check out the best things to buy in November to really help stretch your budget.
Seasonal Produce
Winter is here and there aren't always a lot of fruits or vegetables in season. You will find pumpkin, winter squash, cranberries, sweet potatoes and pears in season. I love buying pumpkins after Halloween to freeze. They are easy to bake and then puree them and store them in bags.
Foods
The Thanksgiving sales will be going on all through November. It's a great time to stock up on flour, sugar, and other staples. Also, you will find lots of Halloween candy on clearance. We will see sales on soups and broths, so stock up for all winter long. Of course, we will also see deals on turkeys, gravy and stuffing. I love to get some turkeys on clearance after Thanksgiving and put them in my freezer.
Other Items
Toward the end of November we start to see those amazing deals for Black Friday. Kids toys and games are a great price, you can stock up on them to have them for gifts all year long. Cameras, electronics and tools are other items that we tend to see lots of Black Friday deals on.
What do you like to stock up on in November?

Am I the only one who's always tempted to stock up on Halloween candy for next year?! I haven't done it, but it's sure tempting. I'm pretty sure kids wouldn't even notice its age in their sugar-comatose state 😉

My sister has done this with leftover Halloween candy. She just stored the candy that she had leftover and said it tasted just fine the following year. My problem would be that I would eat it all year long. 🙂

I try to find marked down Halloween candy that can be "repurposed" either in baking or be turned into part of a gift basket for Christmas gifts.

That's a great idea! Thank you for sharing!

I never thought of buying the leftover pumpkins after Halloween was over and freezing them. Brilliant! Thanks for the post 🙂
