I know it's only October, but Christmas is right around the corner. If you haven't started saving money for Christmas, now is the time. With a bit of work you could easily earn hundreds of dollars. Check out my favorite ways of how to earn cash for Christmas.
Save $10 A Week
$10 a week may not seem like a lot of money, but with 10 weeks before Christmas it will add up to $100. Just set aside an envelope marked for Christmas and place $10 each week in it or put it in a savings account so it's harder to get to the money. By giving up a coffee or two or skipping the drive-thru you can easily save $10 a week.
Sell Your Used Things
You can save up another $50 to $100 dollars by selling things. I have found toys are really popular this time of year. If your kids have old toys they no longer use try selling them on craigslist or at a consignment shop. Go through old clothes, stuff in the attic, and your books. My son had some Nerf guns sell for over $30 each on ebay. With a little bit of time you can not only make space in your house, but make some extra money too.
Open A Bank Account
This is by far my favorite way to make money. There are so many great deals out there for opening a bank account. We usually get an offer a week that will pay between $50-$250 dollars. Watch your mailbox and decide which offers will work best for you. Make sure that you can fulfill the requirements in the amount of time they give you.
Sell On Etsy
Etsy is a great place to sell things. They have so many cute clothes, accessories, and decorations. People will be looking for those one of a kind items for Christmas soon. If you are good at crafts or making things consider selling them for some extra cash.
Take Surveys
You can make money just by taking surveys. Although some take some time, it's easy to do while watching tv or a movie. Some survey sites even have surveys you can take on your phone. Just take 20 or 30 minutes a day to complete some surveys. You won't get rich, but you can make some extra cash. A few of my favorites are Swagbucks and SurveySavvy.
Get A Seasonal Job
There are lots of seasonal jobs before Christmas. Many stores hire seasonal help or malls often need gift wrappers. By working 20 hours a week you could earn a lot of extra cash for Christmas.
With a little bit of extra work you can earn the cash to pay for Christmas. Start earning that money now so you can have a low stress, debt free Christmas. What ideas do you have for making money for Christmas?
