Living Well Spending Less
Ruth Soukup's book Living Well Spending Less 12 Secrets To The Good Life is a fantastic book to start off the year with. She talks about how to get your budget and your life back on track and get rid of the chaos. I love that she shares so much of her personal journey. It really makes you feel connected to her. She had a lot of creative and helpful tips for moms to make the most of their budget.
Miserly Moms
This is one of my all-time favorite finance books to read. I read Miserly Moms originally after my son was born and we were trying to live on one income for the first time. It was so helpful and inspiring to read. I have since read it every couple of years. I found it is great to get us back on track and working on budgeting. It's a very easy and quick read that will get you in the mood to start saving and spend less money. This book really is one of the best finance books to read.
The Total Money Makeover
Years ago my husband and I thought we were so weird for using the envelope system and buying old cars instead of getting loans for cars. We were thrilled when we found this Dave Ramsey book that inspired us and made us feel more normal. No matter where you are on your financial journey this is a great read. This book has really pushed us to do more for retirement and start working on paying off our mortgage with gazelle-like speed. If you haven't read this book yet I highly recommend you do.
Money Saving Mom's Budget
I am a huge Money Saving Mom fan so I was excited when she released her Money Saving Mom's Budget Book. I love those books that help me save time and money, and this is one of them. If you are just starting out on your money saving journey this book is a good place to start. It's a very quick ready and gives great advice on grocery budgets, coupons, and living frugally. It's been one of my favorite best finance books to read.
