I love Christmas. I enjoy having my kiddo off school, my husband home from work, and all the time we get together. But my favorite part of Christmas is Christmas morning. We just lay around all morning and open presents. We all take turns opening up presents from each other. Usually, my kiddo has a big stack of presents. It's always fun to watch the look on his face when he sees the big pile.
But the big stack of presents doesn't come with a big bill for us. I have planned ahead and made a little money here and there to help pay for Christmas. It's so nice to be able to contribute without a job. It's actually really easy to make some extra money for Christmas. If you are trying to make extra money this year check out these 6 easy ways to make money for Christmas.
Swagbucks
If you haven't signed up for Swagbucks yet I definitely recommend you do so. It's so easy to earn Swagbucks throughout the day. You can search on the internet through Swagbucks, watch videos, play games, take a daily poll, and so much more. You then can turn the Swagbucks you earned into giftcards. I like to get Amazon gift cards and then buy Christmas presents on Amazon. It's so easy to do, if you haven't signed up for Swagbucks yet you can go here to sign up.
Mystery Shopping
Mystery shopping is such a fun and easy way to make money for Christmas. Some of the jobs allow you to bring people along with you, so it can be an easy one to do with kids. Some of my favorite mystery shops are restaurants like Panera and Five Guys.
You should never have to pay to join a mystery shopping site. All the ones I do are free. I would recommend Market Force. I have had good luck with them and the payouts are good. If you are just getting started with mystery shopping try signing up for one shop and try it out. It’s easy to get overwhelmed, so start slow and add in jobs as you figure out what you like. I recommend staying close to home (under 20 minutes) to make sure you aren't spending too much time driving just for $15-20 dollars. You are never going to get rich from mystery shopping, but you can easily make $500-$1000 a year doing a shop or two a week.
Take Surveys
One of the first ways I started earning money is by taking surveys. You can sign up and take surveys from home to earn money. I would spend an hour or so a couple days a week while my son was napping. I found I was usually paid around $1-$3 per survey. One of my favorite parts about taking surveys is the freebies I can get. I have had everything from free food to 48 rolls of toilet paper sent to me and then follow up with a survey. A couple surveys a week can help you save $250 a year for Christmas. You can go here to sign up for Opinion Outpost and start taking surveys.
User Testing
I was first introduced to user testing when I started my website. Basically, you can get paid for going to people's websites and testing them as a user. It's so easy to do from home even if you have kids. All you need is a computer, microphone, and the internet to make some money.
You can sign up for user testing here. They pay $10 per website and you usually will spend around 15-20 minutes on the website. The great thing about user testing is you don't have to spend a lot of time to make some money. If you do two testings a week you can make over $1000 a year. That alone could easily pay for Christmas!
Ibotta
This is by far my favorite way to earn extra money. Sign up for Ibotta if you aren’t already signed up with them. If you buy something that is on their list you get money deposited in your account. It’s even easy to get money back on fruits, veggies, and milk. I can usually make around $100-$200 dollars a year with Ibotta. I just let the money build all throughout the year and then have it deposited in my account in November. This goes such a long way toward paying for Christmas. You can do this with so many apps on your phone. You can see my favorite money saving apps here. If you sign up and use most of these apps you could possibly save over $500 for Christmas.
Get started today and earn money for Christmas. It's easy and you can do most of these from your own home. What do you do to earn money for Christmas?

Our christmas fund is done through a sinking fund so we don't neccessarily work for the extra money. However, sites such as ebates have helped us add to our christmas fund!

I tried to sign up for the mystery shopper thing...
The site requires that you disclose where you heard of them. "Frugally Blonde" is not on the list. It seemed wrong to just randomly puck one from the list, so I haven't signed up.
